I feel like I have too many things on my mind
The book is the result of a one-year project in which the authors engaged 25 “uniquely normal” young people aged 15-21 to introduce various aspects of their lives—everyday life, friends, family, leisure, parties, the places where they thrive, and the areas where they feel challenged.
They are properly "Zyge" – welcome to Generation Z in the workplace.
Why do younger employees not take independent initiatives, and what is needed to motivate them to take responsibility in their daily work? What is the reason for their higher absenteeism compared to older employees—is it because they are lazy, or are there other factors at play? What kinds of workplaces are they looking for? What types of leadership do they seek?
Based on an introduction to the general characteristics of ‘Generation Z,’ the presentation will focus on how companies can accommodate new employees who often have entirely different expectations of working life than those who have been with the company for a long time. This includes how to create a company culture where generations can mutually challenge each other.
